Amineni Shivani is 13 years old and holds a current rank of 2 on the Indian National Ranking (under 14). She will be representing India in the World Junior Tennis Championship this year. She is a current member of the Indian National team. She was both the singles and doubles runner-up in at the nationals held in Aurangabad this year. She was the winner in the Delhi nationals at the doubles event.
Shivani has been performing well on the Asian circuit too. Was the runner-up in both the singles and doubles events in the Asian championships held in Pune, Chandigarh and Hyderabad earlier this year. Shivani has very recently started to play on the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Juniors circuit.
This event was held on 25th Dec at NVK Tennis Academy. A total of 20 children and 4 coaches participated. The day involved various fun games and festered a friendly competitive spirit amongst the 4 teams (Red, Blue, Green and White). The day ended with a prize distribution ceremony.
