He is a former member of the Davis Cup team (1991-94). His achievements as a player include being the national champion and national runner up 7 times. He has had a career world ranking of 18 on the Junior circuit and an ATP ranking of 378. He has played in the Junior Wimbledon and the US Open. He has also won a gold medal and 2 silver medals at the SAF games. He has been coaching in the USA, at Kutchers Sports Academy for a period of 15 years. He currently owns and runs an academy at Hyderabad that trains juniors, national level and ITF players. He has travelled as the national coach on the ITF circuit including the Australian Open.

Balu has been involved in coaching since 1990. He is a qualified ITF level 3 coach. He has worked with different sponsored, residential academies including Batra Tennis Center and Fist Apollo Mission 2008. Presently he freelances, runs camps and travels with players for tournaments, nationally and internationally. He is a tutor for the AITA coaches education program. He has been a speaker in Asian coaches workshops and national coaches workshops. He has won the national doubles title in 1993.

He has been working as an orthopaedic and sports medicine consultant in Apollo Health City and has more than 20 years of orthopaedic experience including 10 years in the United Kingdom. He has worked in centres of excellence including Glasgow University Hospitals, Aberdeen University Hospitals and Worthing Hospital. He has immense experience in sports surgery including joint replacement (knee and hip) and arthroscopy (knee, shoulder, ankle, hip and elbow). He was also a scientific committee member in sports medicine symposium in Cannes, France. He has worked as consultant for Rugby Football League, UK. He has been the sports doctor for Manchester, Commonwealth Games and has been sports physician for British Judo Masters Championships. In India he has been the liaison doctor for the IPL team Mumbai Indians.

He is a sports physiotherapist and has an experience of over 10 years. He is currently a consultant physio for Microsoft R&D Ltd. and a consultant at Apollo Clinics (Madinaguda). He is also working as the head physio for the Hyderabad Cricket Association. He has worked as a physio for the Deccan Chargers IPL cricket team, for the U-19 India World Volleyball Championship, the Afro Asian Games as well as the All India Coal Meet. He is a director of Prasanth Health Care Services and his expertise include conducting CMEs on Spinal Manipulation, K- Tapping and Dry needling.

Vikram has been in the field of football for over 15 yrs. He has played in the Football National 7 times in total. Vikram has worked at Talwalkars as a fitness instructor for over 4 yrs. He currently Freelances. Vikram is spearheading the Outreach Program at Nachiketa Tapovan (nachiketatapovan.org) a school for underprivileged children.
